lordtariel
I really like the versatility of the plain ol' round kick. There's no place like 127.0.0.
bushido_man96
I really like the versatility of the plain ol' round kick.Ah, yes: Hi or low, angled or traditional, in the clinch or apart. It does have many uses. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
bob000555
I like how a front leg side kick lets me control the tempo so i can fallow up with a round kick or two...or three...(voted side kick for its mix of power and speed) The biggest cannon in the world is of no use against a skilled sniper. -Mao

Menjo
front kick... but for show id choose the axe kick! "Time is what we want most, but what we use worst"William Penn
boyo1991
the axe kick isnt all that gr8 looking.. i mean yea, it looks like it hits hard, but for show, DEFENETLY a 360 roundhouse/tornado kick... YoungMan
I personally think a well executed axe kick, especially against an opponent, is an awesome sight to behold. Brings a smile to my face, especially when told "Taekwondo techniques don't work." Tell that to the guy laying there. There is no martial arts without philosophy. boyo1991
well what about a superb tornado? i have had many of applause cuz i did a nice one in a tornament... ppl were scared of me, it was quite funny im not saying an axe kick isnt bad looking at all, just i personally like tornado more, as you personally enjoy the sight of an axe kick more just trying to explain my feeling "ok, well i must warn you, im an orange belt on karateforums!" YoungMan
The tornado tends to one of many in a series, which means it doesn't stick out as much. Yes, it looks nice, but is not used as a finishing kick very often. The axe kick tends to be used by itself, and is often the last thing a fighter sees before he hits the floor. In other words, I've seen many fighters use an axe kick as the opponent comes in, and that's it. The fighter goes down. There is no martial arts without philosophy. boyo1991
good argument... but in this decision im going to be stubborn im sticking to the tornado kick even tho yes an axe kick does knock out more, i like the tornado kick more just for looks "ok, well i must warn you, im an orange belt on karateforums!"
