NightOwl
Before I settled on the gym that I go to during the summer, I went looking around dojos all over the place. KungFu schools, karate, krav maga, even ninjitsu. I eventually settled down with Wing Chun for awhile before moving on to a MMA gym. Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.~Theodore Roosevelt
baronbvp
I have been researching MMA and JKD schools in Berlin, GER. Next year I hope to go there for a month of immersion language training. If I get to, I will definitely find a place to train while I'm there. I will also look around in hopes of finding a place I can train once I move there with my family. Hopefully, I can find an MMA type place that also has a gym and locker room. Only as good as I make myself be, only as bad as I let myself be.Martial arts are like kinetic chess. Your move. But, I admire what you do. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
ramymensa
I think I never was too much time in another location to be able to look into the local MA clubs. I would like to do this, but I am only visiting for 2-3 days and if I go to the seaside there aren't too many clubs (not to mention that after spending so much on being there I'd rather be on the beach than train in a dojo) World Shotokan Karate

It pays the bills and keeps things interesting! After Germany, I'll be ready to stay in one place - most likely back to the beautiful Pacific Northwest. bushido_man96
Whoo. You should get plenty of training in at one school, then. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
baronbvp
Yep. The work and travel schedule, including periodic social obligations at night, is pretty busy. I doubt I'll have much of a routine, but if I can get a school that will work me in when I can come, it will be great. I will need something to keep me in shape. throwdown
I'm always jumping around and sparring with different guys at different kickboxing and boxing gyms. That's one of the best ways to bring up your skills when you compete at the levels that I do.
