I don't think it would be fair to consider Kyokushin sloppy Goju Ryu. I am sure they have their differences, but I don't think they would be considered sloppy.

Doesn't Kyokushin use more of the Shotokan forms?

The Wado ryu club is a university club, is that the one you're referring to?

Is the main difference between Kyokushin and Shotokan and Wado ryu? is it just the sparring being full contact?

I think i am going to watch the club train this Thursday and get some more information from the instructor.

Oh ok, I was actually thinking of somewhere different, I think... still might be the same guy but I will have a look. I think the wado ryu club that I'm thinking of trains mainly at the leisure centre...

Kyokushin, while it may not look as nice, is certainly not sloppy. It is great if you want a harder MA style.

Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.
