baronbvp Posted May 13, 2007 Posted May 13, 2007 Excellent! Great form. You are obviously very comfortable with tonfa. Two tonfa, even better. Good job. Only as good as I make myself be, only as bad as I let myself be.Martial arts are like kinetic chess. Your move.
marie curie Posted May 13, 2007 Posted May 13, 2007 Wow, I haven't done traditional karate for a while and I forgot how cool tonfas were- nice job! You suck-train harder.......................Don't block with your faceA good traveler has no fixed plans, and is not intent on arriving. -Lao Tzu

NightOwl Posted May 13, 2007 Posted May 13, 2007 Yes! Definitely a job well done! Do you spar with tonfa too? Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.~Theodore Roosevelt
lordtariel Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 Yes! Definitely a job well done! Do you spar with tonfa too?Not full out, but I do a bit of light sparring against bo when I find someone willing to fight with me(A lot of people are afraid to train bunkai with weapons). I'm currently making a set out of pvc and foam padding them to make people less nervous. There's no place like 127.0.0.1

lordtariel Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 Gotcha- usually that cuts down on the number of band-aids and advil no? Yeah, I get enough of that swinging weapons around on my own. There's no place like 127.0.0.1
