username8517 Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 Everytime I see videos like these I have two thoughts run through my mind 1). Wow, those people really train their body and push it to the limitsand 2). How many of those tricks will they be able to do past 40?
DWx Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 Joe Eigo is awesome... Not effective fighting or whatever but he is an awesome acrobat and combines some great flashy kicks for demos and the like. Plus he actually has a martial arts background unlike some tricksters. These guys are great too. Eigo is part of a stunt team with some of these guys: "Everything has its beauty, but not everyone sees it." ~ Confucius
bushido_man96 Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 That's awesome. I love the Caporiea moves.Practical? No. But there are a lot of things out there that aren't, but we all do them anyways. Why? Because we enjoy them! This is what is great about the martial arts. We can all find our niche. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com

This is what is great about the martial arts. We can all find our niche.I agree 100%. I can almost guarantee I will never be in a situation where I would use my martial arts weapons(That's what my gun is for ), but I study them because I am interested in them, not for a practical purpose. There's no place like 127.0.0.1

I'm not a big fan of the gun part. But these things can always be fun to know.
Athena Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 OMG! it's team ryuoko! I love them >. Strike first. 'Til then i will not fight you. Everytime someone calls JKD a style, Bruce turns over. Why do I love Bruce Lee? Not because he was an awesome martial artist- but because his train of thought overlapped with mine even before I knew about him. Thank you karate forums, for introducing me to Bruce Lee
DWx Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 OMG! it's team ryuoko! I love them >.<Yeah they're amazing.... I've always wanted to see one of their performances live! "Everything has its beauty, but not everyone sees it." ~ Confucius
