baronbvp Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 Maybe we'll get lucky and he will. Only as good as I make myself be, only as bad as I let myself be.Martial arts are like kinetic chess. Your move.
bushido_man96 Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 I heard someone say he has a wrestling background and has been training BJJ for a few years now. He seems like a guy who's hard to take down. I think he'd do really well.If that is the case, then I think he could hold his own. I am not sure if he would be able to compete for the title immediately, but I think he could get in there and make some waves.Cung Le has been named as Black Belt Magazine Hall of Fame Kung Fu Artist of the Year. The article stated that he has been training in BJJ lately under Garth Taylor, a black belt under Claudio Franca (don't know who these people are, but I am sure they are legit). The article also stated that he had Wrestled at one point. Perhaps he is better geared up than I realize. Perhaps he is preparing himself for the bigger stage of the UFC. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
Treebranch Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 He's a force to be reckoned with. "It is easier to find men who will volunteer to die, than to find those who are willing to endure pain with patience.""Lock em out or Knock em out"
bushido_man96 Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 Perhaps. There is no doubt that his takedown would be brutal to deal with. He is very quick and explosive. I wonder what weight he would fight in, and who he would challenge? https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
