sensei8 Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 I don't use any music for any reason in the dojo because I'd be way to easily distracted by a great song. I'd stop meditating and/or training because I'd want to sing along with it...play the air guitar...play the air drums...or whatever else instead of what I'm suppose to be doing...like training! **Proof is on the floor!!!
ninjasan11 Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 personally, I dont use music when meditating. I use it to calm me down or to pump me up, but thats not really meditating to me. plus, Its hard enough for me to sit there and empty my mind, and would be imposible with music. I would be humming it lol.
Preacher Posted December 24, 2009 Posted December 24, 2009 Everyday music for me that I find relaxing is Gregorian Monk chants. I also like listening to flutes, classical and a few other things. For meditation or training. No music.
