One of my best friends in college was a Japanese-American born and raised in Kaneohe in Oahu. He was a black belt in Judo and in a form of karate, I believe Shotokan. He was a grappler and striker long before MMA was a term. I trained with him in his club in LA and learned a great deal from him.

Kudos to the islands!

Japan: ninjitsu

China: kung fu or muay thai

Korea: tae kwon do

south America: BJJ

thats all i could think of at the moment

the best fight is one that doesnt happen
