He was a black belt in Judo and in a form of karate, I believe Shotokan. He was a grappler and striker long before MMA was a term. I trained with him in his club in LA and learned a great deal from him.Kudos to the islands! Only as good as I make myself be, only as bad as I let myself be.Martial arts are like kinetic chess.
