patusai Posted February 7, 2007 Posted February 7, 2007 I had the opportunity to see the Chibana version of Kusanku. In my past I learned or saw the Yara version, Shotokans Kanku version and Shimabuku's Yara version. I found the Chibana version quite interesting.I know that there are plenty of versions but how many named versions (where a specific person is included in the name of the kata -- such as Chibana Kusanku, Yara Kusanku) are credited to individuals. Just curious "Don't tell me the sky's the limit because I have seen footprints on the moon!" -- Paul Brandt
strangepair03 Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 Patusai, are you still following this threat???? A punch should stay like a treasure in the sleeve. It should not be used indiscrimately.Kyan Chotoku Sensei
