There is the link to the university's ma program.

Not very descriptive, as far as the number of hours put in. However, I think if we could find the credit hours on the courses, that would help.

I think the four aspects of the arts that they study is a nice twist.

What I want to know is what kind of homework will they get?

Okay class, for next week's assignment you have to execute a proper head block against someone swinging a tire iron and make sure you video tape it for proof :D

"Go to a SEAL bar and start a fight. Observe your interaction with the patrons. Discuss."

Only as good as I make myself be, only as bad as I let myself be.

Martial arts are like kinetic chess. Your move.

On a serious note  , I think that most of the homework will come from the classes on the history, culutures, and languages. Otherwise, the MA classes themselves would be like a normal MA class. I guess there would always be the opportunity to do "lab work" in the dojo.

Now what kinda of job do you expect to get with such a degree?

MA instructor at a college maybe? Other than that, I would imagine that the degree would just train you to run your own dojo.

I wonder if they would allow instruction from another dojo in place of theirs.

Man I wish I was going for a degree in Martial Arts. I am going for a post graduate degree in business and I feel Like killing someone. Thank god for the martial arts to get my frustrations out. Imagine if you could do both? That sounds like such a great degree. Everyone on this forum should check it out.

Thanks,

Sensei Tom
