hapkido princess Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 wow a 10 min. test? I had to reread that a few times. I just watched a black belt test for hapkido that lasted 3 and 1/2 hours. It was brutal. She had 46 fights, added up she fought for an hour and 1/2. I've tested were my instuctor skipped things and I've had stripe tests were I only had to do the things from that set but even then it was longer than 10 mins. I'd feel odd too about testing. Maybe you should go and test, in the end YOU know what you are capable of, even if it isn't asked for. A Black Belt is a White Belt that never gives up.
Sibylla Posted February 2, 2007 Author Posted February 2, 2007 Wish I could, but there are no other organisations here.Is there anyone you can work out with that isn't affiliated with an organization?Nope...we are all by default in the organization.

I agree with you comment on knowing what you are capable of, I guess I should start to give myself more credit for what I achive in sparring and competition.
