What is the average price of sais?

In my training, i am expected to broaden the weapons that i know how to use. The next weapon is sais. Unfortunately i don't know how much they cost, normally/brands . I would look online, but you guys are the real experts.

Plus i am looking for a pair that will last a long time.

Well I found a cheap pair for about 25 or so. That's probably the best its gonna get. Just shop around awhile and the main thing to worry about other than the wrapping comming off is making sure the weapon is properly balanced. Since Sai are made of solid metal they will theoretically last forever as long as you give it good basic maintenance and don't do anything foolish with it like stabbing the ground or something.

I usually recommend getting a budget quality weapon to begin with. You can find them from $20-$40 all over the internet. If after a month or so you decide you're going to want to stick with that weapon for a while, get a better one. If not, you're not out that much money.
