"What we do in life, echoes in eternity.""We must all fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil which we must fear most, and that is the indifference of good men."
dreambig73 Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 I am reading "Great Lakes Shipwrecks and Survivals" by William Ratigan. A good read, especially the Carl D. Bradley and Edmund Fitzgerald.
patusai Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 My reading is usually confined to processional manual and books. Presently I am reading "Know IT Security" by James P Litchko. "Don't tell me the sky's the limit because I have seen footprints on the moon!" -- Paul Brandt
bushido_man96 Posted February 21, 2008 Author Posted February 21, 2008 Thought I would pull this one out of the cellar, because I have found a new interest in reading:One of my wife's co-workers bought a Clive Cussler novel, titled Raise the Titanic!, and once I started reading it, I could not put it down. Now, I have read like 6 more of his books, the Dirk Pitt adventures, and I love them. I have enjoyed them so much that I have put some of the MA reading on hold.... https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
NightOwl Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 I could go for a good MA book.....any suggestions? I've been reading a lot of a magazine called Mental Floss lately. Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.~Theodore Roosevelt
bushido_man96 Posted February 21, 2008 Author Posted February 21, 2008 Hmm, good MA books...The Little Capoeira Book by Nestor Capoeira is a good read, and it is something that you don't see a lot in writing about. Good history and philosophy sections (I thought), and just good reading.I'll think of more soon, fear not... https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com

DWx Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 Reading a lot of Stephen King lately. Still have to read the last Harry Potter which is lying around somewhere... Also have to read The Handmaid's Tale and King Lear for school. Takes the enjoyment out of them though when you have to disect each and every line to find deep and profound hidden messages.
