patusai Posted December 20, 2006 Share Posted December 20, 2006 I tried watching public television and seeing the different painters show how it's done. Landscape paintings and such because I know I could not paint a person or an animal but I could conjure up a landscape in my mind. I tried shading rocks to give them depth and all of the other techniques but it my end result did not look as it was intended and was not very good. I kept trying and my results were still failing. I guess I do not have whatever it is inside of me that makes an artist.
