DWx Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 Our instructor always tries to explain applications and if one of us asks he will stop the class and demonstrate for us. I find it helps me to position my arms and legs at the correct angles and heights if I know what they are meant to be doing.Gen. Choi's encyclopedia is quite good for applications, particularly the full volume set if you can get to see a copy. Quite a lot of the photos show the moves being applied... bit on the expensive side though. "Everything has its beauty, but not everyone sees it." ~ Confucius

Sometimes, I get so focused in on the target, that I don't think about how things are getting there. It just depends on my mindset at the time, I guess.Gen. The book that I have by Anslow is nice for filling in some of the voids. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com

The book that I have by Anslow is nice for filling in some of the voids.I've not really seen much of Mr Anslow's work however I have heard really good things about him. I will have to put his book on my wish list... "Everything has its beauty, but not everyone sees it." ~ Confucius
