KickChick
Maybe we can change title of this thread to ... "Guess the Slang" in order to keep it going! We have all sorts of countries here... with their own slang terminolgy such as UK, Australia and US (very infamous all three for their "slang") Maybe more ... I'm not really sure So what does " who opened their lunch?" .... really mean in Australia?
capn_midnight
My guess:who opened their lunch=who farted? I would guess it comes from the love of vegemite in australia, which I have been told has a pungent odor. So, if someone were to have a vegemite sandwich for lunch, and they opened it in a crowded area, people would wonder what the smell was. Arguing with an engineer is like mud wrestling a pig. After a few hours, you realize they both like it.
Patrick
I've run football pools before, if that is what you mean. But, they are either no bet or nominal (fun) bet.
