Elky Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 Whats wrong with learning something for fun anyway? Nothing in the grander scheme of things. Some people are just grouchy sods like me who don't like "impressive" techniques. I find a good, hard, perfectly targeted front kick way more impressive than jumpy spinny kicks, but that's just me. Each to their own!
Symphony-x Posted December 1, 2006 Author Posted December 1, 2006 yeah, but, I prefer learning more combat type things that are more effective, but once in a while, a flashy kick is fun Willing - Believing - AchievingOrange Belt: Freestyle/Sport Karate - Kickboxing - Boxing

Jiffy Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 here you go jiff.... some1 is swining at you with a staff but they dont know how to use it so they take a huge lateral swipe at you... you go over the bo and kick them in the face at the same time... hope it helps...ive honed my excuse making skillz so that i can add things to my kata and if anyone questions its practicality i can come up with a reason for doing itHAHAHAHA, Well Done!Think in this scenario, I'll stick with stepping in close and smacking them in the head with an elbow.... but thanks for the giggle!!! The mind is like a parachute, it only works when it's open.
