At my kickboxing club I always seem to see people come along and who are very gentle and hold back and even those who are experianced. Holding back can make you a much less aggresive and fullfilling fighter. I recommend this book to all courage seekers. 'You can be Positive,Confident, and Courageous' by Aaron Lumpkin. This book definately works since all of my friends that had low self-confidence or lack of courage found it made them this in quick time, it makes your life worth living and I brought it up because in martial arts if you have courage you wont hold back, BUY IT!!!!

Cool, thanks for the info! I might have to look in to that because I hold back when I go up against women a lot.

There was a recent Black Belt magazine about how approaching sparring, etc., with women in this manner is a lose-lose situation for everyone. You might search their site online and take a look.
