taorama
My wife and daughter (11 y/o) recently came to me and said they're interested in learning martial arts, and want us all to do it as a family. I realize that there aren't many places that offer simultaneous classes for kids that young simultaneouosly with adults. I'm also pretty ignorant when it comes to the different disciplines. I want something for them that will be both theraputic and fun, but also very practical in real world self-defense applications. Can anyone here from my region give me any suggestions as to where to start? bushido_man96
Welcome to KF! What you should do is get a list of the schools in your area, and then go visit and talk with each of them. See what the class structures are like, what the philosophies are, and any other questions that you may have (like the family class question).Best of luck to you, and I hope you find what you are looking for. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
