Heavy Bags turning rock hard

I don't know if it has the same foam, or a different foam. However, it does feel different striking the hanging bag than the freestanding bag.

Hey.... I bought a long heavy bag ( that allows low kicks) for my bedroom , it´s very resistant , and cool.

I filled it 50 percent with salt ( wide grains ) instead of sand in the bottom and rugs in the top..its ok for now....but is toooo hard

But I ´ll keep workin until the pain is gone :

Sounds cool. You could try filling it with rags, to see if it doesn't get too hard.

To solve your problem, go out and buy a dehumidifier. Sounds like moisture has gotten in your bag. You'll probably have to open the bag so that the contents can lose the moisture that has built up inside.

I'll give that a shot, we were looking to get a dehumiderfier for the basement anyways.
