Karateka_latino
As a matter of Fact.. I've dated girls from the "forbidden" places...School, students, work..etc.. and those have been my best relationships ever. On the other hands. Girls that i've met in parties, bars, .. those relationship hasn't gone anywhere and ended badly
monkeygirl
OK Alphabet boys are gone...no problems with them now. After reading some of your posts, I feel a bit better. However, now I have a problem...one of the students' brothers has a crush on me! A 16-year-old...and he's really cute! I've never even SPOKEN to the guy, but he has a crush on me. How do I know? HIS MOTHER TOLD ME! I'll admit it's kinda lame, but at least he's close with his mother He told his mom and sister (the student) to say hi to me, so they did. The mom was like "he thinks you're pretty cute". Getting to my point: is it okay to date this students' brother? He's coming after me first, and I'm not gonna chase him. So if he asks me out, is that okay?? I told my mom what happened and she just kinda giggled. Oh and he's thinking about joining classes...not sure if it's because he wants to train or if he has alterior motives Of course, I would keep it out of the dojo...that's a HUGE no-no!!! One of our instructors got kicked out for ... let's just say he was doing some rather "interesting" katas with his girlfriend after hours...idiot 1st dan & Asst. three60roundhouse
XpOiSoN FrEeX, to me, everything isn't for the club! If I met a guy I liked at my school (not gonna happen, no teenage guys at my school ), I would have no problem trying out a relationship! I'm single! Why not? We date people from high school, why not from MA school (actually, I go to an all girls school, so finding guys is hard! ) 1st dan Tae Kwon DoYellow Belt Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu16 Years OldGirls kick butt! ramymensa
About falling in love with one in dojo had a crush on my sensei. Fortunatelly I reminded myself he is twice my age and he is too short (a little taller than me and I really like tall guys ) So it ended before it began. Fortunatelly because one of his "helping hands", a young woman shodan had a crush on him for years and she tends to be jealous on every new "wanna be mrs sensei". Uhhh Imagine what i would have had to endure from her. I guess it's impossible not to feel "something" for anyone in the dojo. it's in the air World Shotokan Karate

Karateka_latino
I insist. You don't have control of your heart and with who you are going to fall in love with. You just love a person or you don't. If we could choose who to fall in love with, there wouldnt be ANY problems on the relationship. I don't see a problem in dating someone you met on the Dojo. Why not?
