Rainbow_Warrior Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 Hi.... I do not know what happens with Pa kua in other places of the world.. But here in Argentina there are some nasty thieves who teaches any crap but Pa kua , using it´s name.As far I know....it´s a Kung fu style that uses circular techniques , and seem to be good ( I asked to several Instructors ) but in my country..there are not Pakua instructors...so , what they teach is an invented crap ( using the martial art name )A friend of mine....is a pseudo pakua student....and he pays about 500 bucks per month....and they told him he ´ll be an instructor before 1 year of practice.....That is a scum.....poor man. ´´ The evil may win a round , but not the fight ´´
HG Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 Instructor in one year - McKwoon. Ba Gua is an interesting martial art. Kinda rare to find a legit school. You'll have to do some research. https://www.emptyflower.com is a good place to start. Click 'Xingyiquan' to enter site.
cathal Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 One year before you become an instructor is definitely much too soon. In your other post you mentioned it was a cult of sorts, though. I'm not sure about your local laws about that sort of thing but is there a regulating body in Argentina for Martial Arts clubs, or sports groups? Even if there is something like a Better Business Bureau you could consult. But another important thing to keep in mind is if you accuse someone of operating a cult you need to be certain of a lot of factors. If that sort of thing is truly illegal in your area you should consult with a legal counsel or police officer to get advice before going ahead with something like that. .The best victory is when the opponent surrendersof its own accord before there are any actualhostilities...It is best to win without fighting.- Sun-tzu
Rainbow_Warrior Posted October 5, 2006 Author Posted October 5, 2006 Thanks fot the link.Yes , we do have regulations about MA. In fact...If a black belt ( of any MA hits a gut...may be in troble..And must to demonstrate that he was atacked first..... And we also have regulations about cults and religion..but because the ´´ freedom of religion´´ any one may pick any cult.....A cult can be closed just if the people is really physical wounded...but it´s hard to show that they are asking tons of money....... ´´ The evil may win a round , but not the fight ´´
cathal Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 OK one thing you might want to do is chat with someone in a social group. There are such things as social activist groups, that are allowed to check into churches & groups which some may fear to be a cult. This ia usually a pretty safe way to check into a group in case you are afraid for your friend.I'm not sure about Argentina or I'd suggest something specific, so instead I'll suggest you consult with your local municipal government representative, or maybe even a police officer. They can maybe direct you to one of these groups. .The best victory is when the opponent surrendersof its own accord before there are any actualhostilities...It is best to win without fighting.- Sun-tzu
bushido_man96 Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 I had not heard of cults like this before. This is very new to me. A terrible thing, no less. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com

Rainbow_Warrior Posted October 9, 2006 Author Posted October 9, 2006 I was sorry for him...I tried to help him lot of times. But he said that I want to separate him of the ´´ warrior´s path´´.After a long time, getting he mad in discussion...he no longer wanted to talk with me ( either other college , and all life friends)I borrowed him money when we were at casino , and gave me after a year, then said me that ´´ we are no longer friends´´, and that he was angry because I asked for my money ( that he gave me a 1 after ) He gave me my money , and Told me that he has a mission to do , in the way of the mind work to be a warrior of the sun. Something like that....Is hard to help someone who does not want to be helped. ´´ The evil may win a round , but not the fight ´´

Just when you think you have made progress, you notice u still have a LOT to learn.look info through the net. you have wikipedia to learn general information and browse the net for more information or buy books online about it.Good luck! <> Be humble, train hard, fight dirty
