A_Train Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 Well, I don't think you'd want to show up to train smelling like a booze hound. Sweaty smelling would be better! I play a wrestling game online. If you'd like to play follow this linkhttp://www.thewrestlinggame.com/wg.asp?w= 133896

jaymac Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 Actually though, there is no smell to vodka, so it may work. Really though, any antibacterial spray or wipe should work, unless you have cloth material, then just wash it. A great martial artist is one who is humble and respectful of others.

pegasi Posted September 29, 2006 Posted September 29, 2006 No one has mentioned using a spray bottle with 50/50 bleach water solution in it to spray down your gear, then wipe dry with a clean towel. The bleach will kill the bacteria that cause the odor, and also kill any germs that came from your opponents. Obviously this would be inappropriate for colored cloth gear, which can be chucked in the washing machine and air dried.Day care centers use bleach/water solution to sanitize the toys the kids play with, so that transmitting colds, flu, strep etc is minimized. That's required by the health dept. what goes around, comes around
