KarateK
Are they leather? Or fabric? Depends on what material they are. I use antiseptic wipes on my leather focus mitts, and i cool wash my sparring shin and gloves. Karate Ni Sentinashi

bushido_man96
You may also try keeping a dryer sheet in your bag with your gear. It kind of helps to keep them fresh. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
elbows_and_knees
they make sprays for this. Or, you can buy some febreeze and spray them. DO NOT leave them closed up in your bag overnight. The smell will only set in on them.Unfortunately, if your gear already stinks, you aren't going to reverse it. you can stop it from getting worse though. The next time you buy gear, make sure you keep them sprayed and aired out.
kenpo.stylist
bacteria is going to keep them stinky unless you kill it and keep them clean. spray them with Lysol to kill the bacteria, then get some anti-bacterial wipes to wipe them down with after each session after rinsing them with water to clear the sweat. You can get pretty decently scented wipes from a myriad of sources...I prefer warm vanilla sugar from Bath and Body works. I have decent results with any wipe that has Benzylkonium Chloride as its main component.
Daze
thanks for all your advise.I don't think you can get lysol in the UK but I'm sure there will be something similar.I'm affraid that is the mistake I have been making, putting my sweaty stuff in a bag and in a cupboard. (oh dear)i'll give it all a good cleaning tonight and buy some anti bacterial spray.Cheers Guys
Shui Tora
How about Vodka diluted with water and then spun on a 30 degree wash?I saw it on a website with some other good stuff too! I tried it out, and it actually works too! Works well with cigarette smoke too!Try it! You never know!
