CTTKDKing Posted September 22, 2006 Author Posted September 22, 2006 I wish I had a company to recommend, but I don't. I just want to congratulate you on a tremendous job of loosing so much weigh. That is fantasistic! You should be very proud.I'd try Century Customs, as well. They might be able to hook you up.Keep striving toward your goal! Not to sound cocky by any means, but I am proud of loosing that much weight. My instructor calls me the TKD Jarrod. (like Jarrod from Subway)I'll check out century customs and see what they can do for me. Thanks. "The key to immortality is first living a life worth remembering."
IcemanSK Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 TKD Jarrod is a fitting nickname. It's not bragging to talk about such a trememdous accomplishment. Heck, you'll be the first to say, "It wasn't easy."Keep it up, Champ! Being a good fighter is One thing. Being a good person is Everything. Kevin "Superkick" McClinton

For the first few weeks in the beginning I felt like I was going to puke at least once in almost every class. Now I can keep up with the most fit people in my school. I won't say that I'm in better shape than them yet, but I can keep up. "The key to immortality is first living a life worth remembering."
pegasi Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 Hi, Just thought I'd comment that if you did get the size 9, you could probably get an alterations place to add in panels to make the uniform larger. This would most likely mean adding to the pants along the hip/leg on the outside, as well as in the top under the arms, or down the back.Just an idea, anyhow. The way things are made these days, they generally can't be "let out" like one poster suggested, but adding in panels of similar material to increase the size is a more likely possibility. what goes around, comes around
bushido_man96 Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 I checked out the Ronin, and may try it out. Still though, I can't use it in WTF sanctioned events. All the tourny's I've been to that are WTF sanctioned, require the v neck style uniform. I may get the Ronin uniform for Open events and just training in the dojang.Size 10...that is big. How tall are you?My sister is somewhat of a seamstress. I've gotten size 10 from somewhere else that doesn't exist any more, and she hemmed off the sleeves and cuffs. I'm 5' 11"Taller than I am. Everyone is taller than I am, though! https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
CTTKDKing Posted September 25, 2006 Author Posted September 25, 2006 Taller than I am. Everyone is taller than I am, though! Hey, you're only as big as you feel. "The key to immortality is first living a life worth remembering."
bushido_man96 Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 Taller than I am. Everyone is taller than I am, though! Hey, you're only as big as you feel. I'll keep that in mind! Sometimes, I don't feel big, like when I get mad, but I feel puffed up, I guess. Like I swell, or something!! https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
squintykick Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Taller than I am. Everyone is taller than I am, though! It's no bonus- I'm a newbie girl whos 6' and I keep getting the heck rattled out of me by a 5'2" red belt who says stuff like " it's like david and goliath" then lets loose. I nearly didn't go back cos of her. Well done on your weight loss, thats an amazing achievement!
