AceKing
I was just wondering what did warriors, samurais, etc, do with their swords after battle. Wouldnt the blade have nicks and dents in it like all around the sword. They probably didnt throw it away so how did they get it back to shape? lordtariel
Unlike now where we grind the nicked edges of a blade away to make it sharp, I believe they took a certain type of stone and polished it until it was sharp. It's a pretty expensive process that you can still have done in some cutlery shops today. There's no place like 127.0.0.
bushido_man96
Yeah, that sounds about right. Also, the winning side would loot the field, taking all of the equipment left behind. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
cathal
This is where the weaponsmiths & armourers shined. They weren't simply expected to make a sword which would last the test of time & be effective. They were also responsible for maintenance. .The best victory is when the opponent surrendersof its own accord before there are any actualhostilities...It is best to win without fighting.- Sun-tzu
