Very few QBs are given the reigns to run their offense. QBs, again, like Peyton Manning had complete authority to run the offense. QBs have to prove their worth and not all QBs in the NFL are given that right.

Like in anything, one down at a time to prove themselves worthy of full authority with their offense.

People enjoying the new season?

As a Bills fan i was slightly worried at the start but now a lot more hopeful! We are nearing the tail end of our superbowl window so hopefully they can get over the hump this year

Way too soon to get excited about the standings as they are. Even though my Cowboys kicked the Patriots to the curb 38-3 which left the Cowboys 3-1 in the books for this season. Next for the Cowboys are a trip to LA for the Chargers, which should be a W for the Cowboys.

GO COWBOYS!!

I've been enjoying it. I really hope the Chiefs can get this new roster of receivers rolling. They've not been winning handily at all, but Patrick willed out a win on last Sunday night against the Jets. I have faith that Andy Reid will get things pointed in the right direction.

I'm super glad Chris Jones is back in the lineup, and hope they can get him signed next off-season.

The Bills really showed up against the Dolphins last week. It's crazy how things can swing from week to week. The Lions are a legitimate threat to win the NFC Norse division, and I think the NFC East comes down to a fight between the Cowboys and Eagles.

has been really good so far.

Think it's going to come down to Bills vs Chiefs again from their conference.

We just need a non Josh Allen running game. If we can nail that down then i genuinely think we win the superbowl. He is always asked to do too much - throw loads plus be the main running back really. Mahomes can do it too but at least he always (historically) had a decent enough rb to carry that load.

Am also please to see Purdy looking good still for San Fran. Was hoping he wasn't going to be a one season wonder and so far he looks legit

I try not to be too optimistic or pessimistic the first five or six weeks of the season since there are so many examples of early season success that goes wrong later in the year, and the opposite can also be true. Right now though I'd say it's similar to last year, the top two teams in the NFL are Philly and SF, in the AFC Buffalo and KC, though I think teams like Dallas, Jacksonville, Detroit, and maybe a couple more could disrupt things.

I know Allen is a big guy, but man, I can't help but think he's going to take a shot that eventually that grounds him for a while. Mahomes doesn't look for that contact when he runs, but it seems Allen does at times.

My Cowboys had a nail-biting game with the Chargers, of which they won 20-17. The win brings the Cowboys to 4-2 and 2nd place behind the Eagles on the NFC East.

My hats off to the Chargers because they kept the Cowboys on their toes with their solid defense. Chargers quarterback, Herbert, played a great game considering his non-throwing hand that was fractured on week 4; gutsy!!

The game tied up 3 times. 20 penalty flags. Turnover on downs. Many punts: of which the Cowboys messed up badly in the 4th quarter that allowed the Chargers to tie the game up 17-17.

The win felt good after the Cowboys were embarrassed by the 49ers last week 42-10. Oh yeah, speaking about the 49ers, who lost to the Browns 19-17, there are no more undefeated teams.

Next week for the Cowboys: The 3-3 Rams at home.

How'd your team do??

GO COWBOYS!!
