Football season is here!!!

Well, the Chiefs get a win this week, while the Broncos and Chargers lose. Good for them, but it was still an ugly win.

Deuce McAllister is out for the season in New Orleans, so does this make Reggie Bush the man?

Also, the Packers look to be for real. I did not expect Favre to perform as well as he has so far. It is good to see him having fun!

Woo hoo!!! Chiefs win again, and I did not expect them to! The defense played well again, but Tomlinson did get off the snide, and rushed for well over 100 yards. Anywho, the Chiefs even their record, and I really thought that they could have started 0-4. Dwaye Bowe looked really good, and maybe the Chiefs have drafted a legitimate wide receive threat now to help out Tony Gonzalez and the passing game. LJ finally got over the 100 yard mark as well. Full of positives, this week.

I picked up Bowe in the fantasy league. Good to see Johnson finally get a good performance.

I had Osi Umenyoria in one of my fantasy leagues, but didn't start him yesterday. He had 6 freakin' sacks, too!!!

The near shutout to Jacksonville the week before this was pretty disappointing. However, they turn around and turn in a gem of a game this week, where I really thought they would get scorched. The offense played well this week, giving the defense the chance they needed to stay fresh.

Congrats to Tony Gonzalez on becoming the leading TD catcher among Tight Ends in history. Its been a long time coming, and well deserved.

The Dolphins continue to lose. Penalties and poor defense. Ted Ginn took a kick 96 yards for a TD, only to be brought back with a penalty. He also had a return past the 50. That, too, was taken back by a penalty.

Well, it is back! Did everyone enjoy week 1? I would have to say that I did not. However, I figured as much. This year, I look for the Chiefs to finish 3rd in the AFC West, and maybe win 5 or 6 games.

However, we will always have the fantasy leagues to fall back on! Right, Patrick!
