bushido_man96
And, in an odd twist to someone only casually watching, Ron Rivera, as well.Yeah, get this, as their LINEBACKERS coach! How in the world did the Bears forget to lock him up? I was shocked. I did not see this coming. I think that may lay the groundwork for the coach of the future of the Chargers.I think you are right, Baron, about the rest of the Bears being ready, waiting on Rex. But still, they guy needs a chance. One more thing. What does everyone think Marty's chances of ending his career as the head coach of the Browns are? Might be a chance, there. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
baronbvp
I can't imagine Norv Turner agreeing to have a coach who was identified as his potential successor hired the same day he was, but you never know. Could be a hedged bet by Spanos. I think that's the overt plan in Seattle for putting Jim Mora behind Holmgren, who is ready to retire before long.As for Marty in Cleveland, I hadn't considered it. Might be a good move. Are they looking? Only as good as I make myself be, only as bad as I let myself be.Martial arts are like kinetic chess. Your move. Are they looking?Well, they aren't yet, but they haven't had much success under the current regime with Romeo Crennell. And I hear they still love Marty in Cleveland. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
seersin
this has been a very odd offseason thus far,and it just started.I'd like to see Marty maybe go to Cleveland, and finish his career there, they could really use the help.I'm in Panther country and keep hearing how this is their year coming up.I'm also anticipating seeing what happens to Vick,Matt Schaub is a good QB and I don't think he'll be sitting on the bench any longer,a lot of teams could use Matt.Very interesting off season ahead of us. baronbvp
I couldn't agree more. It will be interesting to see if young Lane Kiffin can fix the Raiders, or whether that's hopeless until Al Davis dies. I would hate to be JaMarcus Russell and go to Oakland to languish. We'll also see if Matt Leinart can excel in Arizona. Only as good as I make myself be, only as bad as I let myself be.Martial arts are like kinetic chess. Your move. bushido_man96
7 head coaching changes in all this offseason, if you are keeping track.Pacman Jones has really got himself into a fix this last week.News out of Chicago is that negotiations are sticky with Lovie Smith. Apparently, the organization is not wanting to pony up. I think they should sign this guy, before he gets away. Also, out of Chicago, I guess the reason Rivera got away is because he really wasn't a "Lovie Smith guy." Apparently, he has someone lined up, and isn't really concerned about having to replace him. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
bushido_man96
I have been watching here and there on the NFL Network bits and pieces of the NFL Combine. I don't know why, but I enjoy watching the skill practices that they do. Maybe it is my love for well-executed technical skills; I don't know. But watching the form running and drills that they do is just a blast.I have done some of those skills practices before, and although I may not be an athletic specimen, nor very fast, for that matter, I always enjoyed doing them. Those scouts put quite a bit of stock into the athlete's combine performances. What do you all think about them? https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
baronbvp
I don't know enough about them, other than that the scouts know what they're doing. Consequently, the draft stock changes pretty significantly with some guys. You always hear a guy who doesn't do well there talking about how he "performs in games," but I think the combine is important to put everyone on the same footing. I believe guys who do well at the combine have a pretty good track record in the NFL.Now you've piqued my interest, Bushido Man. I'll have to pay closer attention. Wait til you watch some of them do the 225 pound bench press. I guess while they are there, they have regular nutrionists set up their meals. The fullback from Rutgers said that he lost about 15 pounds, and wants to try to be a tailback in the NFL. With the extra weight off, he is looking at shedding 40 time as well. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
