Ban the tush push…go to an 18 game season…seems to me that the powers that be of the NFL have just to much…well…idle times at their hands. NFL is a money-making machine. In 2023 it was reported the NFL generated about 20 billion dollars, with projections of it increasing to 25 billion by 2027. The average NFL franchise is worth just over 5 billion. The franchise are worth more than ever and player salaries have never been higher. This means the customer, the fans, can expect to see an increase in prices for tickets, merchandise, TV packages, and streaming services. As long as enough people continue to hand over their money to support the NFL, the league will keep expanding. The tush push will be put to a vote at the next owners meeting, which is in May. 1
KarateKen Posted April 17 Posted April 17 The Aaron Rodgers saga continues. In a Pat MacAfee interview on Thursday Rodgers said he is undecided on his future and is not ruling out retirement. Rodgers says that he has been focused on his personal life and has been expressing that in conversations with teams that he spoke with, including the Steelers. Rodgers also was critical of how the Jets handled the ending, explaining he flew from California to New York to have a meeting with the organization, only to be told what they could have told him over the phone, which is they are moving on.
KarateKen Posted April 18 Posted April 18 Josh Allen had an MVP season and was rewarded by the Bills with a six year 330-million-dollar contract extension, 250 million guaranteed. While that sounds like a large payday, Allen could have gotten more money but did not want to further tie up the salary cap, saying that he would rather give the team the best chance to win than make a few million more dollars. His current salary takes up about 20% of the Bills cap. The Bills have been knocking on the door of the Super Bowl in recent years due primarily to the play of Josh Allen. He also has 117 consecutive starts, the longest active streak of any QB and second longest active streak in the league. Looks like Josh Allen will be winning games in the NFL for a long time to come.
KarateKen Posted April 23 Posted April 23 Another unfortunate story involving a famous athlete. Fromer NFL player Shannon Sharpe has been accused of a very serious crime against his ex-girlfriend. Sharpe has denied all charges claiming, "this is a shakedown" and appears to be willing to settle the case for 10 million dollars.
KarateKen Posted April 25 Posted April 25 Cam Ward was the first pick in the draft as the Titans needed a QB. The second pick was Travis Hunter, who the Jaguars traded up to select, dropping Cleveland to the 5th pick where they selected DT Mason Graham.
bushido_man96 Posted Monday at 02:14 AM Author Posted Monday at 02:14 AM The draft was something else, wasn't it? Honestly, other than the Shedeur Sanders slide, I don't think it was too nuts. I'm pleased with the Chief's haul. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com

bushido_man96 Posted 4 hours ago Author Posted 4 hours ago Dak is a serviceable QB right now. I don't think drafting his replacement right now is a good idea. Maybe in a few years. I think the bigger issue is getting the right coaching in there, or better yet, Jerry sitting back out of the way and letting the coach do his job. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
