Chiefs win against the Ravens, drop a game to Jacksonville, then turn around and beat the Lions.  I'm hoping for a winning streak to start.  Rashee Rice is back next week.  I'm excited to see what that does for the offense that has been picking up as of late.

I'm still alive in survivor league as the Packers won on Sunday, now I have to decide who to go with this week.  The easiest pick looks like the Chiefs, who are at home against the Raiders. The Patriots are also playing well and are visiting the 1-5 Titans.  I don't see anything else on the board this week that I like.

Ashton Jeanty signed a 4 year, $35,895,812 contract with the Las Vegas Raiders, including $22,746,044 signing bonus, $35,895,812 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $8,973,953. In 2025, Jeanty will earn a base salary of $840,000, a signing bonus of $22,746,044 and a workout bonus of $3,220, while carrying a cap hit of $6,529,731 and a dead cap value of $35,899,032.

As of week 4:

Rushing yards 282
Rushing average 4.1
Rushing touchdowns 2
Receptions 7
Receiving yards 20
Receiving touchdowns 2

Jeanty’s productivity seems to not match what he’s being paid by the Raiders. Perhaps Mark Davis is richer than I give him credit for.

Great question, Ken!! Must be nice to earn all of that money for doing nothing for it.

Jake Matthews consecutive starts streak in in jeopardy after he suffered an ankle injury in Monday's game against the Bills.  Matthews has started 183 games in a row, the longest streak of any active NFL player and the most by a left tackle in history.  Matthews has only missed two games in his career, both due to an ankle injury in 2014.  He is listed as day to day and missed practice on Wednesday.  Falcons visit the 49ers on Sunday night.

This doesn't make sense to me.  There's supposed to be a cap on what rookies make based on where they're drafted.  Unless they extended him already?

No matter how bad one of the other is, the Chiefs/Raiders game always seems to be a tough one.  Hopefully KC does the job this week and puts them away, but it could be a close one.
