lordtariel
I've seen the occasional martial arts summer camp for kids, but what about for the grownups? I could really go for a week or even just a weekend long retreat for nothing but training. Anyone know of any karate retreats on the west coast? Preferably in southern washington/oregon/northern califorina? Anyone have any experience with them? There's no place like 127.0.0.
bushido_man96
I don't know of any karate camps around, but I have had experience with such activities. I think it was in 1994, I went to the Rocky Mountain Workout that the ATA held. It was a weekend thing, with an assortment of different classes you could take. You got about three or four in per day, and broke for lunch and dinner.I had a blast. I hope you can find one, too! https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com

bushido_man96
Very nice pics, Jiffy, all of them. Portsea looks like a load of fun, and being done outside is a nice freshness. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
cathal
We do it annually in the summer. We've had a lot of success in the past, this year was pretty good as well. Regrettably though we're on the Atlantic coast of Canada...you probably are too far away. .The best victory is when the opponent surrendersof its own accord before there are any actualhostilities...It is best to win without fighting.- Sun-tzu

What do you suppose the tag is on it??Hit "upcoming event's" the flyers there with pricing. Looks like $165 a day, or 3 day seminar $395 without accomidations $585 with accomidations. I used to be stationed very close to there, that resort is really nice, or used to be.
