Shogun of Harlem Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 Has anyone ever used this dvd by Mark Hatmaker and if they have what are your thoughts on it ?
Jiffy Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 No, but out of curiosity, how do you use a floor bag for grappling arts? The mind is like a parachute, it only works when it's open.
Shogun of Harlem Posted September 11, 2006 Author Posted September 11, 2006 I dont know many of the drills that is why im interested in the video. But i did see one drill you can do with it. You are in the top mount position and you can either punch the top of the bag where the opponents head would be or you can put your hands where the chest would be apply all your weight. Then spin around like you were doing an armbar. That is about all i know.
bushido_man96 Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 I have seen some dummy bags that are shaped like a person, and weigh around 100 lbs. (maybe less) and they are used to simulate a training partner when one is not available. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com

bushido_man96 Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 Oh, ok, glad you like it. I believe it whole-heartedly. I try to use it to make myself work out more, and work out harder, when I have a chance. Here is one by Napolean: "Luck is the residue of design."What do you think of that one? https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
