ad Posted May 3, 2002 Posted May 3, 2002 im in my room worried about my whole life, because what happens in the next couple of days could change my whole life for the worse it all started on thursday when my arm was dislocated after i fell over pretty badly, so anyways i arrived on school back on friday with a sling around my right arm, and i couldnt move it all having been in the hospital and in the operating room for all of thursday so anyways i was hurt pretty bad and just felt completely unbalanced so anyways i was just talking to some mates during lunch time as you do and then some kid my age punches me in the face and then purposely pushes me in the shoulder and runs off, now im in pain, alot of pain, so i went up to the guy and punced him twice in the face (other hand) and kicked him, then he went and told the headmaster and made some lie, with his friends lying aswell sayin that he just threw something at me, now i have to see him on tuesday to see whether i will get expelled or not, the school i go to is the top third in the whole of the uk, and i have been there for four years, with me qualifying from the school i can guarantee to go to at least oxford or cambrige to produce a very successful career, now if i get expelled, which is a very likely chance, i get no chance of going to another school, i get no chane of going to uni and i have no chance of getting a decent life have i done anything wrong? Brown Sash Hsing I/Lau Gar Kung FuBrown Belt San Shou17 yr oldhttp://www.selfdefencehelp.co.uk
rabid hamster Posted May 3, 2002 Posted May 3, 2002 ad, it's not your fault. When you go talk to the headmaster guy, calmly tell him what really happened. Just like you told us. Except don't tell him you punched him twice in the face and kicked him. Just say you punched him or something that's less violent. . At least.. That's what I would do. Don't let that stupid kid ruin your whole future. I hope everything goes alright for you. Even if you end up going to a worse school, how do you know you have know chance of getting a decent life? Goodluck! It is only with the heart that one can see clearly, for the most essential things are invisible to the eye.
Bon Posted May 3, 2002 Posted May 3, 2002 Lie about what happened ? haha, no.. I have been suspended for that. You go to him and you tell him the story, you tell him he came up & punched you in the face, and then purposely your shoulder which is dislocated. Say you were in a great deal of pain at this time, the adrenalin was flowing and you were so angry because he attacked you when you have a dislocated shoulder and more so because he hit your shoulder and could have done more damage to it. You then punched him in the face twice and kicked him to show him you can still defend yourself even though you can't use your shoulder and that arm. Then say, you realise it was stupid of me to hit him back, because I could have done more damage to my shoulder in the process... but, I was just so angry he attacked me when I have a dislocated shoulder and more so because he hit my shoulder & I wanted to show him he can't pick on me because of that. When you tell him what happened, tell him as if you're in control and calm and with a hint of remorse in your voice. Btw, did you do anything to provoke him ? It takes sacrifice to be the best. There are always two choices, two paths to take. One is easy. And its only reward is that it's easy.
Bon Posted May 3, 2002 Posted May 3, 2002 No matter how annoyed you get with the principal, stay calm all the time. They'll suspend you if you get all arrogant, aggressive and hostile. ad Posted May 4, 2002 Author Posted May 4, 2002 no i didnt provoke him at all, it was just some random no reason hitting in the face the problem is though that i have many of his friends lies against me, saying that the guy never hit me, and its like just me saying he hit me, at the moment it sounds if i just for no reason when up to the guy and started hitting him which wasnt the case at all they wont believe me when i say that hit me first but thanx for the advice bon, i will act calm, but i dont want to sound like a bloody thug how can i make it sound like it wasnt my fault if the headmaster is going to think that the guy didnt hit me and i just jumped him for no reason? Bon Posted May 4, 2002 Posted May 4, 2002 Ah, no! Do not make up a story for his lie. In school, nothing justifies hitting someone no matter what they've done. Get your friends that you were talking to to tell the principal the story.. Think about it dude, who the hell is going to hit someone with a dislocated shoulder unless they're really angry ? You got that angry because he pushed your shoulder.. It takes sacrifice to be the best. There are always two choices, two paths to take. One is easy. And its only reward is that it's easy.
tessone Posted May 4, 2002 Posted May 4, 2002 Look at it this way, ad. If you say "He hit me. I didn't think about what I was doing and just hit back. What I did was wrong, etc., I'm sorry I did it, etc." and are respectful with the headmaster, he'll believe you. Why lie about the provocation if you admit you were wrong and that you did what you did? However, if you say he provoked you and make up some story to cover the truth, it'll look like you're lying about all of it. The truth will set you free--trust me.
