Okay, let me be the first. lol

Jigoro Kano, Ueshiba and Helio Gracie, because they used science and intelligence over muscle and power and develop systems that allow a small person to defende against heavier and stronger oponents.

And Bruce Lee, He put Martial Arts in the world and just because of him, martial arts became popular world wide.

My own intructor because he's a nice and open minded person.

Thanks

I definately have to say Sensei Sandie Benevides and Sensei Ingrid Dordar...Sandie is my instructor and constantly pushes me to my limits ("NO FEAR!!") and who is relentless in her own training, which inspires the rest of us. What's most amazing about her is that she knows EVERY students strong-points and weaknesses and because of that, we are all constantly improving...

Sensei Ingrid Dordar is a truly inspiring woman - she started kickboxing when there were no women in the sport and sparred against men instead...she co-owns Champions (my school) with her husband Master Farid Dordar. She is always available to her students (sometimes to her own detriment) and is one of the most honorable people I have ever met - she is a very humble and giving person, who believes in giving to her community.

Bruce Lee definitely for bringing such martial arts awareness to the east, without him there would be a lot less dojos out there in the east. As was said in his biography once "Before Bruce Lee, there would be a MacDonalds and a church in every village... after Bruce Lee, there was a Macdonalds, a church, and a Karate dojo in every village" kinda like that quote

Well, a couple of people. There's my brother Joe, who isn't a master but got me started on the path of martial arts. He showed me how to do my very first kick, the front kick to the stomach. He showed me how to use a bow and arrow, and he is one of my best friends - especially when i was a little kid. I was also inspired by a man that i don't think liked me much. He was my HapKiDo instructor (a 2nd degree BB) and his dedication to training was awesome - he shaped my personality greatly without even knowing it. I would also have to now say Shihan Sal Ebanez, although he does not train the same way i am used to, one cannot help but be inspired by this man.

There are two people. There is Ticky Donovan, UK Coach for Karate (he taught my Sensei)!. Then there is my Sensei Ron Bagley. He has proved to me that there was so much potential and I couldn't see a bit of it. He got me believing in my self and made me realise that I am just impatient. It takes a while to get good, but you will get good. He is like my second father. Then there is Sempai Michelle, the senior assistant. She has also helped me a great deal with so much that she is like my second mother. Together, those two have made me the best I can be. Ticky Donovan, although I never met him, has inspired me from affar because he took Karate and scientificuly (sp?) changed and changed everything about Kumite. So these are my heroes. I would do anything for these guys.
