Sohan Posted September 8, 2006 Author Posted September 8, 2006 **Update**Good news! My classmate Richard told us last night that he is happy to report his PET scan and biopsy were NEGATIVE for cancer. He still faces surgery for the large mass in his lung (about the size of a small orange), but we know now it appears not to be cancerous. He is obviously relieved as we all are, and I have no doubt that your thoughts and prayers played a part. I am not a big religious guy, but I do believe in the power of prayer. Thanks again for all your support, KarateForums! With respect,Sohan "If I cannot become one of extraordinary accomplishment, I will not walk the earth." cathal Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 Victory is ours. Now we should use the power of prayer to get us all some free pizza and beer to celebrate. .The best victory is when the opponent surrendersof its own accord before there are any actualhostilities...It is best to win without fighting.- Sun-tzu

french fri25 Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 my mom has had 3 types of cancer and i know wat it feels like to have someone close to u that u feel like u cant do anything for. praying is certainly the only, and best thing to. even though u feel helpless, you are not if u pray. i pray a lot that god can never have to answer another prayer for me ever again as long as he helps my mom get better. the other day, she actually came home from the doctor (which she is always at) and they said she was getting better. the cancerous cell count was down and the kimo therapy seems to be working, although i truly believe that the real healing process is coming because of me and all of my family's prayers for her. so i will definitly pray for him and hope that his family, and his martial arts family dont have to go through wat my family went throughfrench fri25
