parkerlineage
It seems more and more that people are taking ninjutsu, or I see videos training people in ninjutsu...I thought it was like virtually impossible to find a bonafide master/instructor, especially anywhere other than China or Japan! So what's the likelyhood that these ninjutsu schools are legit? alsey
ninja don't really exist anymore, and yeah its pretty much impossible to find a 'real' ninjutsu school. also real ninjutsu covers lots of stuff; combat is just one part of it.i think your best bet is to find a bujinkan taijutsu school. as far as i know that's about the only organised system that teaches ninja fighting arts.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bujinkanpersonally i'd be very wary of anyone who claims to teach ninjutsu. bushido_man96
I don't know why, but every time I here about someone doing ninjitsu, I get this really doubtful feeling about it. Like maybe someone has studied MA for a while, has mixed in some weapons training, and is calling it nijitsu. I just get a really negative feeling about it when I hear it. Don't know why; probably just need to educate myself on the subject more. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
Zorbasan
the guy claims to have been trained in japan and instructed SAS (or similar) and all that crap.people may say its bollocks but he cant exactly come out with something like that in a TV comercial without being able to back up. Anbu Alex
If its bujinkan, Jinenkan, or Genbukan than its authentic and you really arent gonna find an answer to if ninjutsu is taught in these schools honestly we tend to focus on the samurai aspects but to really know the truth about 10 or more years of training will get you a real answer lol but its like that with any art White belt for life"Destroy the enemies power but leave his life"
granmasterchen
hatsumi sensei teaches ninpo budo taijutsu in japan...he has many military students that also teach around military bases, mostly over in the pacific theater, being that you are in cali you may find something at a base close to your location. Tne name of the art form has changed in so many various peoples hands that it is hard to find out info on each various style. I agree with Bushido_Man96 though that b/c of all the mcdojos going on it is very very hard to find a legitimate dojo that teaches this art properly. Jiffy
Many of the ninjitsu schools now are distant decendants of the original style, but that doesn't mean that they're not good.Just remember that Ninjitsu is more than just a Martial Art, it's the art of espeonage. So if all you want to learn is to defend yourself, Ninjitsu will have you spending time on things you will never use. But.... it's really cool! parkerlineage
I'm not interested in taking it - well, okay, that's a lie, I'd love to, but not really searching - I just felt very much the way bushidoman said it. I just feel immediately skeptical of any ninjitsu schools I hear about. Thanks for the thoughts, guys!
