Jiffy Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 Sure, let's have a read. The mind is like a parachute, it only works when it's open.
kenpo.stylist Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 Parker's Kenpo is indeed the real deal. If you are fortunate enough to train under Master "Huk" Planas, then you should jump at the opportunity. The lineage is legit.I am fortunate enough to have video of my instructor's getting 'kicked in' by SGM Parker for their 5th degrees, and the casual party afterward in the dojo. That answers any questions I ever had about the lineage of what I study.Take your time, let that ACL heal up and go hit it hard.
parkerlineage Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 ^Primarily William Chow.My senior paper should be up on the article section eventually. American Kenpo Karate- First Degree Black Belt"He who hesitates, meditates in a horizontal position."Ed Parker

mustbnuts Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 Are you familar with Tom Kelly in Wichita,Ks? He advertises to have trained directly under Mr. Parker.I strongly considerd Kenpo before I started the form I am practicing now. When your on your back, it doesn't matter what put you there.
