Really really really really roughly, yes.

If enough people want me too, I'll put my senior paper up on here - it's a several page history of "American" Kenpo.

PS. Bluedevil, I'm not in any way suggesting that your teacher isn't legit, so please don't take it that way.

FYI only, my teacher was taught by Bill Packer, Tom Conners, and currently James Ibrao(as well as a 2 other teachers)

Dont worry I know what you where saying, and I agree

There is no teacher but the enemy.

Parker's Kenpo is indeed the real deal. If you are fortunate enough to train under Master "Huk" Planas, then you should jump at the opportunity. The lineage is legit.

I am fortunate enough to have video of my instructor's getting 'kicked in' by SGM Parker for their 5th degrees, and the casual party afterward in the dojo. That answers any questions I ever had about the lineage of what I study.

Take your time, let that ACL heal up and go hit it hard.

Are you familar with Tom Kelly in Wichita,Ks? He advertises to have trained directly under Mr. Parker.

I strongly considerd Kenpo before I started the form I am practicing now.

When your on your back, it doesn't matter what put you there.
