Hi all

I purchased a basic Jitte from Seni, but I have fallen in love with the design.

I was just wondering, if anyone knows, are they supposed to be used in a pair.

To my knowledge, they are supposed to be used on their own, but I have seen pics where they are grouped.

Hope that made sense.

As far as I know they were used by themselves. However, having an extra one wouldn't hurt!!

They were generally used singly. Many were very ornate and more ceremonial than anything. It seems they were an ornamentation of rank in the civil services.
