The Third Posted July 28, 2006 Posted July 28, 2006 it's hard enough finding any locations near me that have martial arts, let alone styles that are rarely taught. I'm looking for an instructor that could teach me in the ways of hung gar, or something similar. it just always seemed like a style I would enjoy. Maybe if anyone has sugesstions for other styles, it would be easier to accomplish.Oh, by the way, I live in southeast pennsylvania (warrington/doylestown to be exact) kinda near Philadelphia. Thank you!
scottnshelly Posted July 28, 2006 Posted July 28, 2006 Have you visited any of the schools in your area? Have you done much research? Often it is better to seek a good Instructor rather than a good style. Visit some classes, talk with some Instructors/students, find out what is available (fits with your schedule and budget) and then make an assessment.
White_Tiger Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 I have a buddy that has a ninjitsu school near Philly. If interested let me know and I will get you the information.

There are no bad martial arts, just bad instructors. With that in mind, keep your options open, and take a look around to see what is available.Welome to KF, by the way! https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
