ramymensa Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 I never studied this, but I think that the overall rule applies too: there's not a bad style, only bad instructors, students or training style. Look for a good school and just do it World Shotokan Karate
Hwa Rang Warrior Posted May 9, 2007 Posted May 9, 2007 I've been training in Tang Soo Do for about 14 years and if I didn't have good instructors I wouldn't have stuck with it especially this long. The school definately depends on its instruction. I belong to a school in that is a member of World Tang Soo Do Association. Like many organizations its constantly changing and growing with time. My one complaint is the tournament sparring. The rules don't lend to good combatative fighting. I get a great work out with every class and with in the Association I can find some one that has some expertise in any question or supplemental training I'd like to do so therfore over all the art is great in my mind. Tang Soo!
a_ninja Posted May 9, 2007 Posted May 9, 2007 I did here that chuck norris was a black belt in it, but im not sure about the art itself the best fight is one that doesnt happen
