I primarily practice Shotokan as well, but in our system junior black belts don't progress to 2nd Dan, etc. When they become adults they re-grade for an adult Shodan and move on afterward. .The best victory is when the opponent surrendersof its own accord before there are any actualhostilities...It is best to win without fighting.- Sun-tzu Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
