UseoForce Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 I like the Art of War, but it's really common sense. If it works, use it!If not, throw it out!
Anbu Alex Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 The Unfeather mind ill get the author later great book on martial art mentality and how a warrior should conduct themselvesThe Unfettered Mind was written by Takuan Soho.I highly reccommend this one. It is good for people who think too much .The book of 5 rings is another standard that all should read. Also don't forget the Art of War. This book is not just about strategy but human nature and I find it amazing how undated its concepts are and how it still applies today.yes thank you i like to mention the Grandmasters book of Ninja training by Massaki Hatsumi its different cause its just a bunch of conversations with him and his senior students pretty kool, oo and another one is kung fu for girls it has nothing pretty just brutal techs lol White belt for life"Destroy the enemies power but leave his life"

Jeet Kune Do Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 The Tao of Jeet Kune Do by Bruce Lee A drop of sweat spent in practice is a drop of blood saved in a battle.A person who say it cannot be done should not interrupt the man doing it.
krunchyfrogg Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 "Living the Martial Way" is pretty good. "A life is not important, except in the impact it has on other lives."-- Jackie Robinson"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing."-- Edmund Burke
CTTKDKing Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 I have to agree with someone earlier. "The fighters Body" is an excellent book for giving you explosive energy through your eating habbits. It helped me a lot. It shows you the best way to eat while training, and tells you how to gain muscle weight if you want to, of loose weight if you want to without hindering your training with a not so good diet. "The key to immortality is first living a life worth remembering."
