ShotokanKid Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 A pro sounds like the right way to go.I agree. "What we do in life, echoes in eternity.""We must all fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil which we must fear most, and that is the indifference of good men."
Shui Tora Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 The way that the steel has been folded and tampered with, trying to sharpen it myself would be like me trying to paint (i'm not the good!) The steel has been heated, hammered, folded over seven times as well as coated with streaks of clay (hence why you get the wavey effect along the edge) to get the sharpness...I would send my sword back to where I brought it asking them to heat it and re-fold it and tamper it again... (Some businesses do it that way...) To know the road ahead; ask those coming back... ~ Chinese Proverb" The ultimate aim of Karate lies not in victory or defeat, but in the perfection of the character of its participants. Rainbow_Warrior Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 I do love cold weapons. I got some combat knifes, swords, daggers and sabers. You should acquire those rotative sharpners...about 150 american dollars or so... Or you may try with some accesories of the hole machine as seen on tv I tried it with another knife against the edge too...and may work if you are patient ´´ The evil may win a round , but not the fight ´´
