B 2 DA RYAN Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 (edited) Hello im new here and thought this was a great place to listen and share opinions with other MA! I have studied 5 1/2 years in TKD and 2 years in wrestling, and also just started capoera I am seventeen and hope my wisdom will be useful and appreciated here.Well here goes!I would like to talk about selfdefenseand street fights.First off there are many ways to perform selfdefense then struking your opponent,1. Talking down or out of a situation to a potential attacker is a good way of selfdefense. at the same time you might make a good friend at the prosses 2.could be just walking or running away! If anyone has any others please fill in! Edited June 27, 2006 by B 2 DA RYAN ALWAYS DO YOUR BEST!
patusai Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Maybe. Each situation is different. Sometimes talking, walking or running will not be effective. Most of the time I think that it would be but then it would depend on the situation, where your are at and other such factors "Don't tell me the sky's the limit because I have seen footprints on the moon!" -- Paul Brandt
bushido_man96 Posted July 16, 2006 Posted July 16, 2006 Those are both very good options of self-defense. Most people think self-defense is just coming to blows and winning after someone starts a fight with you. There is so much more to it than that. You have good suggestions here. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
