TigerDude Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 Adidas Contest Gi.Combat Sports International If you think only of hitting, springing, striking or touching the enemy, you will not be able actually to cut him. You must thoroughly research this. - Musashi
cathal Posted July 30, 2006 Posted July 30, 2006 I have a Fox heavyweight gi. .The best victory is when the opponent surrendersof its own accord before there are any actualhostilities...It is best to win without fighting.- Sun-tzu
MJC The Great Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 I wear a standard Giko 14oz heavyweight gi for karate, which I find just the ticket. I've been thinking about a 16oz but fear it may be too much! Any thoughts on that one? The past got us here and leaving it alone was the only way I could be sure we'd never have to live through this nightmare again.
cathal Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 The only differences I've seen between the 14 and 16 is the thicknes, so if you sweat more go for it. But you do get hotter in it. .The best victory is when the opponent surrendersof its own accord before there are any actualhostilities...It is best to win without fighting.- Sun-tzu
alsey Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 i hava nice thick judo gi, a couple of karate gi, a kendo keikogi and two hakama. i also have another judo gi that i don't use because its got annoying badges on it from a previous organisation i trained with. "Gently return to the simple physical sensation of the breath. Then do it again, and again, and again. Somewhere in this process, you will come face-to-face with the sudden and shocking realization that you are completely crazy. Your mind is a shrieking, gibbering madhouse on wheels." - ven. henepola gunaratana
