Ottman Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 Are they doing continuous point or stop point in the aau these days? The Olympic style I know is continuous, but I think the point fighting is a stop point. Have to check though, I'll ask my instructor tonight. Thanks! Tae Kwon Do - 3rd Dan, InstructorBrazilian Ju Jitsu - Purple Belt, Level 1 Instructor

Aodhan Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 an ex girlfriend of mine was into AAU stuff. I competed in a little tournament with point sparring but couldnt use my ATA forms . IMO ATA has some really nice looking forms, especially black belt forms.Yes sir! I can't wait to get to the 3rd degree form in a few months. IMHO, you cannot beat a well done Chung San form until you get to the 5th or 6th degree form. The balance requirements are so intense, if you nail them, it's just beautiful.Aodhan There are some people who live in a dream world, and there are some who face reality; and then there are those who turn one into the other.-Douglas Everett, American hockey player
