Aigloblam Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Bo, Kalisticks, but mainly a weighted Machete. Non Omnis Moriar.Non Omnis Narcos.
lordtariel Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 I use a Katana for Kenjutsu, Bo Staff and Archery (Kyudo).Has anyone tried Kyudo? I would love to try Kyudo since I really enjoy archery, but the nearest school as far as I am aware is in Portland. There's no place like 127.0.0.1

The BB of C Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 What weapons do you use in your styles? In Kuk Sool Won I have yet to touch a weapon because only black belts are the ones who are allowed to practice weapons. They even tried to tell me not to practice with my weapons at home (like I'm doing that) and told me to only practice spinning with my nunchucks (didn't follow that too well either). That set aside. I like practicing katanas, nunchucks, and bo-staffs a lot. I've been trying to teach myself how to use my sais, but I haven't even figured out how I want to hold them yet I would use tonfas a lot if I had any.
username8517 Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 In class we only focus on those that you'll likely encounter on the street:EscrimaKnifeBut on certain advanced training days we'll work on bo.
Feathers of Doom Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 Bo Kali Sticks Nunchaku, Sai and Sword on request and only blackbelts. When practicing Nunchaku, it is best not to stand under lights....seriously; I have broken more lights that way.
The BB of C Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 Kali sticks are easy to use in my oppinion. I doubt I could recreate the style Kali but I feel if I had a Kali stick I could defend myself decently.
