Doing a quick search of the forum, There isnt much talk of Wado-Ryu.

Anyho, Aiwakai Wado-Ryu Is the style that my local club practices in.

I thought I'd just make this topic to try muster those who practice in this style and get any suggestions/hints.tips On it and the like

With this forum primarly being american (Not sure if it is though?) I suppose Wado is rare over there? It doesnt seem all that rare to me over her in England though.

Ive also found alittle something for practitioners of Wado Here...

http://www.art-of-budo.com/karate/EN/index.htm

Its a website shoving videos of Kihon and Kumite and kata etc could come in handy, But of course its no replacement for the teachings from your sensei.

Along with this..

http://www.wado-ryu-karate.com/Syllabus_Total.html

Albeit the "Us Eastern Syllabus" (Where I would want a Uk Syllabus)

I can put one and one together and see what this style of Karate involvles

Those techniques are very similar to the techniques we practice in Shotokan.

A quick dabble on Wikipedia pulled this up..

On the surface Wado-ryu looks very similar to other styles such as Shotokan. However, there are some important differences...
